National Convention for AAHPERD’s Research Consortium

The Honors Program is proud to announce that Christa Daniel and Sarah Mannon’s research was accepted to the National Convention for AAHPERD’s Research Consortium. They will present and be published in the Research Quarterly for Exercise and Sport. The convention is held in St. Louis from April 1-5. The mission of AAHPERD Research is to advance and disseminate research in physical activity and health. The discipline areas include: biomechanics, dance, exercise physiology and fitness, health, leisure and recreation, measurement and evaluation, motor behavior, pedagogy, physical activity epidemiology, psychology, sociocultural aspects of physical activity, special populations, sport management and administration and sports medicine. Sarah Mannon and Christa Daniel are both Sports Exercise Psychology majors at Lubbock Christian University.

The University Honors Program promotes scholarly excellence, and it is evident that Honors students take advantage of the various opportunities to enhance their education and improve their postgraduate options.
